Storing Gemstones the Right Way

Proper storage is as important as proper cleaning. Keep each piece in its own fabric-lined compartment or soft pouch to prevent gemstones from knocking against each other and causing scratches or chips.

Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods — some stones, like amethyst and citrine, can fade with prolonged UV exposure. A cool, dry, dark space is ideal.

For pieces you wear infrequently, consider anti-tarnish strips alongside the storage pouch to keep metal settings looking as good as the stones they hold.
